Draft: needs legal review before launch. This is a plain-English draft, not final terms.
Terms
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms cover firms that use the Snagwalk app, and anyone who opens a Snagwalk link.
Using Snagwalk as a firm
- You own your recordings, photos, lists and approvals. You let us store and process them to run the service for you.
- You must tell the client and anyone on site that you’re recording, and have a lawful reason to record. The app reminds you before every walk.
- Check the lists before you send them. The AI drafts items from what was said; you decide what goes out.
- Prices you enter for extra work are your offer to your client. We are not a party to that agreement.
- Keep your sign-in safe, and switch off any link that went to the wrong person.
Plans and payment
- Your first 3 walks are free. After that you need a Solo or Team plan, billed by Apple or Google.
- Plans renew until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.
- Each plan includes a number of recording hours a month. If you go over, new walks wait until the next month or a plan change.
Opening a link
- Links are for the person they were sent to. Don’t forward them.
- When a client approves extra work on a link, the approval is between the client and the firm. We record exactly what was approved, the signature, the time and the device, so both sides have the same copy.
What we’re responsible for
- We work to keep Snagwalk running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable.
- We aren’t responsible for the building work, prices, or disputes between firms, trades and clients.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app; this deletes your firm’s data as described in the privacy page. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service, for example recording people without telling them.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
